About Liora Gross
Liora developed and led the Center for Creative Leadership’s (CCL) global practice for Leading Digital Transformation since 2018. The practice focuses on helping leaders adopt digital mindsets and behaviors, and helps organizations embrace the opportunities for growth and innovation brought about by digital transformation.
Liora recently co-authored “Doing Well and Doing Good: Human-Centered Digital A person smiling with her arms crossed
Description automatically generated Transformation Leadership.” The book is a call to action as humans and technology become inextricably linked, digital transformation leaders have opportunities to shape that digital future to create both financial value and human value—balancing doing well and doing good.
Liora’s experience spans corporate, academic and consulting roles. She has engaged with global clients across a broad range of industry sectors. Within CCL, she was previously the General Manager of the Sub Saharan Africa Region and Director of Leadership Solutions. Previously she was a Director of the HayGroup (now part of Korn Ferry) in South Africa, where she led the Organization Effectiveness and Human Resources Planning and Development practice area.
Liora has been an adjunct at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria), Wits Business School and Henley Management College. Her subjects included change leadership, organizational design and development, and strategic HR management. Liora also worked as a program director to design, develop and manage delivery of global leadership development programs which included a strong focus on business innovation.
Liora has a MBA (cum laude) and a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial Psychology, both from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. She is an accredited coach with the World Institute of Action Learning. Liora has authored papers on action learning and women’s leadership development, as well as research in knowledge management, leadership and culture change.
