John Viehmann, a 2023 graduate of Marmion Academy, conducted his Eagle Scout project on Benedictine’s Lisle Campus in August of 2022. In March of 2023, he officially earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

John and Scouts from Boy Scout Troop 75, renovated the Mary Statue area near Lake St. Benedict. His project included clearing the grounds, new plantings, cleaning the Mary statue and creating a wooden arbor to go over the statue of Our Blessed Mother. This summer he came back to campus to seal the wooden arbor so that it will last for many years.
